Consider a place in the U.S. you’d like to visit, somewhere you’ve never been before, and tell us why you want to go there. If your proposal is chosen, you and I will meet there for a shared trip.

You must visit it with me, a New York based artist.

Somewhere in America is an art project that explores the United States. It begins here with a contest open to adults residing in the U.S. Up to 12 winning trips will be selected for realization. While exceptions may apply, each trip will span 4 days and 3 nights, including travel time. Transportation, lodging and meals will be funded by Somewhere in America.

The deadline for submissions is November 5, 2024 but entries will be considered on a rolling basis. Write your story in 500 words or less or send me a link to a 3-minute video or audio clip. Optionally, up to 3 images may accompany audio or written submissions.
